This Site
The MuseStand is a humor comics website about people and culture, but I also enjoy exploring other areas including technology, medicine, and the future. My goals are mainly to keep things lighthearted and to entertain, although I sometimes feel compelled to explore topics I believe require careful (re)examination. After all, we're human and prone to illogical logic... like you visiting this site!
The Creator

After nearly a decade practicing the healing arts (yes... medicine), I decided to take my creative talents elsewhere, in a new direction. My experiences and graduate degrees in medicine, engineering, and business should make for interesting fodder for funny and thought provoking cartoons. One more thing... reading, alone time, design, and coffee are my vices.
My Motivation
From the many great books I read as a kid, I've always held a deep affinity for writing and drawing. The MuseStand satisfies a longstanding need to engage my right hemisphere. What better way to excite otherwise stuporous neurons than by creating for this website?
My Methods
A computer, a drawing tablet, Adobe, paper and pencil (sometimes), exercise, and a little imagination. With these tools, anything's possible, including rebuilding civilization. Well, almost... a lathe and a McMaster-Carr catalog would be helpful too!
