Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I post your creative work on my site (blog, website, social media, etc.)?
If you promise not to use my work for commercial purposes, no problem! Permission granted... as long as you don't edit or change my work in any way, and as long as the context remains in good taste. Also, please cite this website.
2. I'm a teacher. Can I use your creative work in my classroom?
I love teachers and appreciate all they've done for me in my life. If you find my work can be used to educate or otherwise contribute positively to your students, absolutely!
3. Can I use your work to promote my product or service? Can I advertise on your site?
Thanks, but no! I don't have the time or resources to properly vet a product or service before endorsing.
4. I stumbled on a site that has stolen your work. What do I do?
Let me know if you feel someone is posing as me, especially if they're selling stuff. Impostors, especially commercial impostors, will be stretched like rubber bands until they snap. Also, if you see my work without proper citation or my signature missing, please politely cite my work and/or share a link to my site in the comments. Thank you for looking out for me!
5. What are your favorite sites for comics and satire?
Comics - The Petri Dish, xkcd, PC Weenies, Dilbert, Peanuts, Baby Blues, FoxTrot
Comic Directories - Tapas, Webtoon, GoComics
Satire - The Onion, McSweeney's
